Ciro congratulates one of its Coffee Excellence Ambassadors, Christopher Abrahams, who was placed 2nd in the Latte Art competition at the recent Regional Barista Championship in Cape Town.
The Latte Art competition highlights the barista’s artistic expression in a competition platform which challenges them in an on-demand performance to create two identical free-pour lattes and two identical designer lattes. Baristas are judged on visual attributes, creativity, identical patterns in the pairs, contrast in patterns and overall performance in the competition.
Ciro was proud to have both Christopher Abrahams and Megan Muller, from the Cape Town team, compete in the Western Cape Regional competition which was held at the Homemakers Expo on 17 – 18 September 2016. Christopher will now go on to compete at the National Latte Art competition at Hostex in 2017 and we wish him well as he prepares for this prestigious event and continues to keep the Ciro flag flying high!
