Every year, something special occurs that captures the imagination of the coffee industry at large. Bringing together people passionate about coffee from all corners of the world, from Roasters, Café owners, Suppliers to the industry, Coffee Instructors, Emerging Coffee Entrepreneurs and much more.
We are of course speaking about the annual Coffee Magazine Awards. This year marked the 6th edition of this prestigious awards ceremony. Wherein Ciro was honored to attend this year’s festivities in addition to being a sponsor of the Dedication to Education Award presented by Rudi Van Jaarsveld and Samantha Naidoo.
This award is handed out to the person or company who has dedicated their time and passion to coffee education, over and above what is required from their 9-5 responsibilities. They are always willing to share knowledge with those who want to learn. Ciro Coffee Academy has presented this Award since its inception as training is at their core and with a newly revamped Academy they continue to support education throughout the country.
Congratulations to Stevo Kühn, teaching is most certainly Stevo’s passion, without personal regard for how much time he gives to his students and the people he mentors. Education is part of his DNA. Onwards and upwards, Stevo!
